Today's front page of the Awareness Times Newspaper covers the news that on Sunday October 13th 2024, I (Sylvia Olayinka Blyden) will address the Mother of Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh about her despicable son. The paper also has the FACT that although there is definitely a hot burning issue between Chief Minister and First Lady; due to utter disrespect from the Chief Minister towards the First Lady, that their matter has NOTHING to do with my matter against Chief Minister. However, the similarity is that the 2 matters have to do with disrespect for Mothers (and Women generally) by Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh.

On September 28, 2024, in Washington, D.C., I had the privilege of accompanying my husband, 3919 His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, at the OBBA USA Fundraiser Dinner and Dance. It was an evening that reinforced the remarkable leadership and dedication he continues to demonstrate, both at home and abroad. I extended my profound gratitude for the unwavering support shown to my husband. His leadership, vision, and commitment have been clear from the very beginning since 2018, he has consistently upheld his promises, delivering tangible results and driving transformative change for our nation. Today, as women are being celebrated globally, it is my husband’s relentless drive to empower women that has allowed this progress. Tuesday 24th September 2024 The Ministry of Information and Civic Education weekly press conference on Tuesday, September 24, led by Media Adviser Imran Silla 2024, highlighted major national developments across the Sports sector, as well as new agreements to upgrade the National Stadium. The following are the key highlights: ♦ MCC Compact Grant to Transform Energy Sector Host Imran Silla praised the leadership of His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio in securing the largest grant in Sierra Leone’s history to address the country’s energy challenges. The $480 million Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact, with $14.2 million in counterpart funding from the Government of Sierra Leone, is aimed at sustainably expanding electricity access across the country. Silla emphasized that, despite previous efforts to increase access to electricity by over 30%, challenges remain, and the MCC Compact will address these perennial issues in the energy sector. ♦ Agreement Reache
