In an unwavering pursuit of a safer future for girls in Sierra Leone, First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio convened a second strategic planning meeting with key representatives from the entertainment industry. As the "Hands Off Our Girls" campaign gears up for its 5th anniversary commemoration, this collaborative effort seeks to harness the influential reach of artists and comedians to further amplify the campaign's message and engage diverse audiences across the nation.


Building on the momentum from the first meeting, the discussion delved deeper into crafting impactful initiatives that leveraged various art forms. From heart-wrenching music videos depicting the realities of gender-based violence, to satirical comedy skits aimed at dismantling harmful gender norms, the brainstorming session yielded a wealth of creative possibilities.


The First Lady expressed her profound gratitude for the continued commitment of the entertainment industry, acknowledging their crucial role in shaping hearts and minds in the fight for gender equality. This second meeting marks a significant step towards a vibrant and impactful 5th anniversary commemoration for "Hands Off Our Girls", promising to resonate far beyond the stage and into the hearts and homes of Sierra Leoneans.
