Transformation strategy towards environmental friendliness

 

Team #EPASL joined the more than 90,000 politicians, scientists, business leaders, activists, and others from around the world that poured into #Dubai from Nov 27th for 2 weeks of climate events & deliberations. Our meetings with WCS, NDC Partnership, UNEP CBIT GCP, UNEP Global TNA Project, UNIDO, PI-CREF, UNOPS/ICAT, the US Delegation, GCA, Rainforest Alliance, Blue Carbon, Bankers W/out Boundaries, Commonwealth Secretariat, etc covered a broad range of topics, from designing new initiatives, joining new networks, to following up on old commitments. These engagements point to a path that we, #MECC, #PI-CREF, and other in-country players will wear out into a wide road of possibilities. They also give a sense of how to support, guide, and call one another back from the side tracks that the many loopholes in previous arrangements leave open. This air of optimism will be reinforced by a raft of initiatives in the new year and going forward, starting with the launch of our 7-year #TransformationStrategy in January 2024.
