EPA organizes two-day consultative engagements with the Parliamentary Committee on Environment and Climate Change, and the Focal Points of Biodiversity Conservation, Climate Change, Pollution, and Chemical Conventions and relevant institutions on the review of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) 2017-2026 to align with the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) that was adopted in December 2022, in Montreal, Canada. The engagement commenced with the Parliamentary Committee on Environment and Climate Change on the 7th of February 2024 and continued with the focal points of Biodiversity Conservation, Climate Change, Pollution, and Chemical Conventions and relevant MDAs ( Ministries of Youth Affairs, Gender and Children’s Affairs, Agriculture and Food Security, Local Government and Community Affairs) on the 8th February 2024, at the Agency’s headquarters, Dundas Street, Freetown.
