Dr Ernest Bai Koroma facing treason and other charges

Ernest Bai Koroma facing Treason & other charges, stands in criminal dock earlier today before he was granted Bail under the same conditions that he has been under all this time. Koroma is to remain under House Arrest with restrictions on visitors. The matter has been adjourned for two weeks during which any of the following options may happen at the level of the State: 1. Leapfrog of Koroma's Matter (as well as all other accused's matters) from magistrate court to High Court under Section 136 of the 1965 Criminal Procedure Act. This leapfrog will thus bypass all Preliminary Investigation at lower courts and swiftly fast-track the Treason Trial.
2. Alleged ECOWAS Negotiations for Koroma to be sent on exile may commence but keeping in mind the mood of the 🇸🇱people crying for ⚖️Justice to be seen👀 to be done, it will be a very risky step on the part of the Maada Bio regime to venture ahead with such an unpopular deal.
