Liberian president honored the Sierra Leone vice president as a special quest on the state opening

It was an honour to be invited as a special guest for President Joseph Boakai’s first-ever State of the Nation Address before the Joint Session of the 55th Legislature in Monrovia. I was particularly pleased when he acknowledged the historical connection between our two sister countries, and his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations. We look forward to working with the government and people of Liberia on many fronts including revamping the Mano River Union, strengthening and protecting border communities and expanding the corridor of trade. Sierra Leone stands firmly with the government and people of Liberia. Thank you President Joseph Boakai, I wish you and your new team all the best.
