China media group to provide support to Sierra Leone media

Chief Director of China Media Group Africa, Je Yao, has discussed partnership and collaboration with the Government of Sierra Leone to provide much-needed support to the media ecosystem, including digitalizing our national broadcaster, the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation. Also, a draft MoU will be signed in China when President Julius Maada Bio visits that country later this month. After the brief meeting with the Minister of Information and Civic Education, Chernor Bah, at his Youyi Building Office on Monday 5th February, the CMG delegation was taken on a conducted tour of the SLBC facilities at New England.
