First Lady of Sierra Leone Dr. Fatima Maada Bio attends the official opening ceremony of the Organisation of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD) 28th General Assembly meeting today in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The theme for this year's General Assembly is “Educate Her and Transform Africa: Enhancing Access to Health and Education for the 21st Century’s African Women and Girls" February 18th, 2024.

Minister of Information and Civic Education Chernor Bah visits his people in Jimmi Bagbo and makes Zakaat to the Muslim Jamaat and the wider community 31st March 2024 Minister of Information and Civic Education Chernor Abdulai Bah has visited his people in Jimmi Bagbo. During his visit, he met and spent time with various community leaders, inspected ongoing and potential projects, and distributed rice and assorted items to his people, especially the Muslim Jamaat. He also joined the Chiefdom Imam and the other elders for prayers and Iftar at the Central Mosque in Bagbo Chiefdom, Bo District.
