Minister of Information and Civic Education arrived in Istanbul

Sierra Leone's Minister of Information and Civic Education Chernor Bah Arrives in Istanbul Ahead Of OIC Conference Istanbul, Turkiye, Friday 23 February 2024 Sierra Leone's Minister of Information and Civic Education, Honorable Chernor A. Bah has arrived in Istanbul, Turkiye, ahead of 2024 Extraordinary Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The Cooperation (OIC) will hold an extraordinary Session of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers in Istanbul, Republic of Turkiye, on 24 February 2024 to discuss the ongoing crisis between Israel and the Occupied State of Palestine. The Republic of Turkiye is hosting the conference, in its capacity as Chair of the current session of the Islamic Conference of Information Ministers, where it is expected that information ministers and ministers responsible for communication in the OIC Member States will participate in the conference.

Minister of Information and Civic Education Chernor Bah visits his people in Jimmi Bagbo and makes Zakaat to the Muslim Jamaat and the wider community 31st March 2024 Minister of Information and Civic Education Chernor Abdulai Bah has visited his people in Jimmi Bagbo. During his visit, he met and spent time with various community leaders, inspected ongoing and potential projects, and distributed rice and assorted items to his people, especially the Muslim Jamaat. He also joined the Chiefdom Imam and the other elders for prayers and Iftar at the Central Mosque in Bagbo Chiefdom, Bo District. Minister Chernor Bah (Cee Bah) made his first stop at the residence of his uncle, the Paramount Chief of Bagbo Chiefdom, PC Sesay Koker, to pay respects and express personal condolences on the recent passing of the late Madam Mariama Ofine Koker, wife of the chief.
