The historic Government Secondary School in Bo City, popularly known as “Bo School”, celebrated its 118th Anniversary with a grand Speech Day and Prize-Giving ceremony that saw the distinguished presence of esteemed guests, including His Excellency Dr. Julius Maada Bio, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, First Lady of Sierra Leone, former students, faculty members, and several dignitaries. Addressing a captivated audience, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio commended the school's legacy of academic excellence and underscored the importance of education in shaping the future of the nation.
In her reflection on the occasion's significance, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio highlighted the critical role the Government Secondary School- Bo, plays in developing young minds and cultivating a culture of academic success.
