Another award for Christiano Ronaldo

Image
Cristiano Ronaldo, presented with the Best Middle East Player award at the 14th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards on January 19, 2024, in Dubai, U.A.E. 🏆 It could only be him, Cristiano Ronaldo, the trailblazer who first dared to elevate Saudi football, banking on instant triumph and his positive instincts. Ronaldo envisioned the future, assuming the role of a footballing maestro, always one step ahead, with other luminaries soon following his lead. Today, his foresight has made the globalisation of football a reality, shifting the sport’s landscape beyond the traditional Europe-South America axis. Ronaldo’s prowess on the pitch is undeniable, but it’s his knack for making game-changing decisions that have propelled him from Portugal to Manchester, Madrid, Turin, and now Riyadh, that truly sets him apart. He’s a sensation on the field, but even more so in life, a paragon of media savvy with his unrivalled social media presence and judicious choices. Having set up home in Dubai,

Even out of the field, he can still play a leadership role

Dethrone Media: "Leadership is not just inside the stadium. When Didier Drogba held onto hope and sent a message to the Ivory Coast fans by heading to the stadium and filling the stands to encourage Morocco to win, it showed the face of a leader who holds onto hope until the last moment. If the fall is not certain, Didier Drogba never throws in the handkerchief. Indeed, Morocco won over Zambia, one of the champions of the African Nations Championship, and thus Ivory Coast qualified with the advantage of place. The third, and yesterday it won over Senegal, the champion team defending its title, in a resounding surprise that even the best optimists did not expect. But in football, there are many hidden surprises and moments of madness."

We look forward to working with the government and people of Liberia on many fronts including revamping the Mano River Union, strengthening and protecting border communities and expanding the corridor of trade. Sierra Leone stands firmly with the government and people of Liberia. Thank you President Joseph Boakai, I wish you and your new team all the best.
